This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design uses a dry shaft construction and flush seal line taps to facilitate maintenance. This pump is rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F and is used for clean water applications.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.86.
