This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided at both the suction and discharge connections to monitor hydraulic performance.
This pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 254 T-frame, utilizing an ODP enclosure and premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH for across the line starting. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. It operates at 40°C ambient temperatures with CCW rotation and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
