This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It features a rear pullout design and top center line discharge to facilitate maintenance and simplify piping layouts. The unit includes ANSI Class 250 flanges, 2" suction, 1-1/4" discharge, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. It is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature with standard CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.83.
