This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. A stainless steel shaft is utilized, covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that maintains a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Gauge ports are provided at the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor, which meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230/460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The motor sits on a NEMA 326 frame, secured on a welded structural steel base equipped with a drip pan and a Woods coupler guard. This pump complies with EISA requirements, maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92, and holds a HI energy rating of 8. It operates in a 40°C ambient temperature with standard counter-clockwise rotation.
