This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is configured with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing operation in clean water temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a greasable bearing frame and is designed for counter-clockwise rotation.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 182T NEMA frame. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor is a premium efficiency model meeting NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected by a Woods standard coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump has a PEI value of 0.91.
