This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and an 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump casing is cast iron and incorporates a dry shaft design with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is configured without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1450 RPM and is powered by a 55 kw Marathon motor. It utilizes an IEC 250M motor frame in a B3 foot-mounted style, featuring a TEFC (IP55) enclosure, Class "F" insulation, and IE3 efficiency. The power supply is 415/50/3 with a WYE Delta starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods standard coupler. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings, and the motor maintains a 50°C ambient temperature rating with a service factor of 1.0 and a Class B rise.
