This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump uses a 9-1/2" bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional features include flush seal line taps, suction and discharge pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design that allows maintenance without disturbing system piping. The pump utilizes a top center line discharge.
The pump is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor in a 324 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power supply using an across the line starting method. The motor enclosure is ODP and includes a drip cover and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions with CCW rotation. The PEI value is 0.89.
