This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing with an integrally cast bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided at both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 213T NEMA frame, and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The drive system includes a Woods coupler, a standard coupler guard, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.88. The equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
