This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a NEMA 254T motor frame and operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. The motor features premium efficiency and meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The bearing housing uses sealed-for-life ball bearings.
