This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal utilizes a Ni-Resist seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 225°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This pump is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a 254 T frame and is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The unit features greasable bearings, an AEGIS shaft grounding device, and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This equipment meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
