This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly uses a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and utilizes permanently lubricated sealed-for-life bearings.
This unit is configured with a 15 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor in a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM on 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power and utilizes across the line starting with CCW rotation. The motor resides in NEMA frame 254 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump mounts to a welded base with a drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a coupler guard. This equipment is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.91 and an HI Energy Rating of 9, suitable for 40°C ambient conditions.
