This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 6-1/4" stainless steel impeller. It uses a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 184 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and a drip cover for a 40 °C ambient environment. This configuration meets premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55 and maintains a PEI value of 0.92.
