This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and uses a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 324 JM frame with feet. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. This motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump has a PEI value of 0.94.
