This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM style frame with feet. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.84.
