This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter and a slip-on shaft sleeve. A dry shaft design separates the shaft from the circulating fluid, and the unit includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber rated for 250°F. The pump is configured with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design enables maintenance without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge provides self-venting.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor. It is mounted in a 256 JM motor frame with feet and features an ODP enclosure with a drip cover. Electrical specifications include 230-460/60/3 PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor complies with NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and CCW rotation, with a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.92.
