This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump is driven by a 50 HP ODP motor, mounted on a NEMA 326 T-frame and operating at 1750 RPM. This configuration utilizes a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump has a PEI of 0.92 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
