This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent shaft contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and uses a 145 JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55, and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and an across-the-line starting option. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
