This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, paired with a cast iron casing and a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F for clean water applications. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254T NEMA frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
