This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation in temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is built on a 215JM frame with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is rated with a PEI of 0.87.
