This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections featuring ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design and is configured without a wear ring.
The assembly operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP, TEFC WEG premium efficiency motor within a NEMA 254 frame. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler with a protective guard. This equipment is EISA compliant, has a DOE PEI of 0.92, and maintains a Hydraulic Institute energy rating of 8.
