This end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with center-line discharge and integrally cast mounting feet to facilitate air venting. The internal assembly incorporates a bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This dry shaft design prevents circulating fluid from contacting the pump shaft. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber manages fluid containment. The configuration provides a 125 PSI pressure rating without a wear ring and includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections, along with a drain port at the bottom of the casing.
The assembly operates with a 125 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, integrating Aegis grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH electrical input, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. No programming is included. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
