This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing without a wear ring. The pump incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows servicing without disturbing system piping. The top center line discharge configuration facilitates venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with a 256 JM frame with feet. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply using across the line starting and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly complies with NEMA standards and has a PEI of 0.91.
