This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that eliminates contact with circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The internal mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This unit is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with a 40°C ambient rating and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor uses a 324JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The configuration includes an across-the-line starting option and a PEI rating of 0.92. The pump and motor are configured in a close coupled arrangement.
