This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes a 145 JM motor frame with feet. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and adheres to NEMA standards. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and the pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.85. The top center line discharge design assists with piping alignment and self-venting.
