This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The casing is constructed from cast iron. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The system is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor, NEMA frame 184 T, operating at 1750 RPM. Power input requirements are 230-460/60/3PH, configured for across-the-line starting. This assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
