This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. It utilizes an 11" nominal bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 254 T frame style and adheres to Super E Premium Efficiency standards meeting NEMA MG1-12.55. Power requirements are 380/60/3. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The unit has a 50 °C ambient temperature rating, CCW rotation, and a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
