This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly uses a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing temperature resistance up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the shaft, and pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 256 T frame. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods-style coupler connects the pump to the motor, supported by a bearing frame with greasable bearings. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.9.
