This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and 5" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes greasable bearings and is configured with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 75 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and uses a NEMA 365 frame. This unit meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods flexible coupler for power transmission between the motor and pump. This equipment carries a PEI value of 0.93.
