This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is mounted on a 213 T frame and configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA standards and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
