This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, along with greasable bearings to support the rotating assembly.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 215 frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, with a PEI value of 0.88.
