This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. This pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system maintenance and monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 254 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This unit features a PEI of 0.92 and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a 40 °C ambient rating.
