This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The pump assembly uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings to support mechanical operation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 286 T-frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Additional features include an AEGIS shaft grounding device, a welded base with an integral drip pan, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.97 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
