This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250°F. This model incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration provides self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure with a JM frame style and mounting feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and requires a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures with counter-clockwise rotation.
