This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for operating temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to allow for system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, TEFC, WEG, Super E Premium Efficiency motor. The motor is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply, uses a NEMA 213T frame, and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor supports across the line starting and features counter-clockwise rotation. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
