This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design featuring a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes integrated gauge ports on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system pressure monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 182 T frame. It is configured for a 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler guard. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. This unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
