This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard with a Woods coupler. This product meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI value of 0.94.
