This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame is equipped with greasable bearings and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM using a 5 HP, T-Frame motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a Baldor model configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. It meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor by a Woods standard coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The motor frame is 182 and the pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
