This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance and prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 250°F. The pump construction incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a NEMA 254 T-frame, operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power, and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55 with AEGIS shaft grounding. It uses across the line starting and a Woods coupler for connection to the pump. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump has a PEI rating of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
