This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed in a cast iron casing. It uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation up to 250°F. This unit is constructed without a wear ring and incorporates flush seal line taps. The pump architecture utilizes a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to facilitate maintenance and simplify piping installation.
This pump is configured with a 30 HP, 1750 RPM, TEFC Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor frame is 286 JM with feet. The unit operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power using an across the line starting configuration. It is rated for 40°C ambient temperature operation. The pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
