This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and an 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, which is dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze wear ring, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG ODP motor in a NEMA 286 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a standard Woods flexible coupler with a coupler guard. The pump bearing frame is equipped with greasable bearings.
