This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor follows a 145T NEMA frame style, is configured for 230-460/60/3 power, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit is configured for across the line starting.
