This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.88 and operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature.
