This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The bearing frame is equipped with greasable bearings, and the casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 40 HP WEG motor, frame 364T, with an ODP enclosure operating at 1150 RPM. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This equipment is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
