This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and a 5" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly includes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and incorporates a bronze wear ring. The pump design uses a dry shaft configuration and greasable bearings to facilitate maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 213 T frame style manufactured by Baldor and is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The system maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a welded base with an integrated drip pan, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.96.
