This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are integrated into the pump housing. The rear pullout design allows for service access without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor. The unit is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with a TEFC enclosure and across-the-line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor uses a 254 JM frame style with feet for mounting. This pump assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient operating environment.
