This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring and is constructed with a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings to support the rotating assembly.
The pump is powered by a 1-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 145 T frame. It operates on 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power and features an across-the-line starting configuration with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupling. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
