This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal with a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft configuration to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the pump shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 254 T frame. Power requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It features a standard Woods coupler and greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.91 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
