This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve, following a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 254 T-frame construction. It operates at 1150 RPM and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods flexible coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is designed for 40°C ambient conditions and utilizes CCW rotation as standard.
