This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter impeller constructed of NSF61 stainless steel, contained within a cast iron casing. The internal construction includes a dry shaft design with a steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operating temperature rating of 250°F.
The unit is configured with a 7-1/2 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 frame, operating at 1750 RPM. Power requirements are 230/460V/60Hz/3PH with an across the line starting option. The motor is a Baldor Super E premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a guard. This equipment is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.91 and an HI energy rating of 9.
