This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 364T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
